We sweep open fires, wood burning stoves, multi-fuel burning stoves and gas fires and we offer advice and support regarding all aspects of your fireplace and chimney. We are fully insured, professional and diligent and take great care to keep your property clean and tidy.
A Chimney Sweep takes around an hour and costs £60 per chimney. We work Monday to Saturday and will always try to fit in around you.
Chimney sweeping is an essential service and your chimney should be swept before regular use, to remove any soot and debris that has built up since the last time it was swept and to ensure it is not blocked in any way.
Chimney Sweep Appointments include:
- A street level visual inspection of the chimney stack, pots and cowls
- A full sweep of the fireplace, flue & stack using appropriately sized brushes and rods
- A smoke ‘draw’ test to check smoke is being pulled up the flue properly
- A thorough clean and tidy in and around the fireplace
- A certificate confirming the sweep has been completed with comments or concerns
